About Circle of Concern Food Pantry
Is there hunger in West County? The short answer to that question is… Yes.
Circle’s roots are in west St. Louis County, a part of the St. Louis metropolitan area known for beautiful homes, corporate headquarters, good schools and a thriving business community; and yet it is also home to families that struggle every day to make ends meet. Low wages, lay-offs, illness or injury, age and more – many families in our area find themselves urgently in need of assistance.
Now serving four west St. Louis County school districts as well as areas of Jefferson County, Circle of Concern provides wholesome foods and host of other services to more than 1,200 households annually.
Our tagline is, “Feeding families is just the beginning.” We know that when a family is struggling to put food on the table, there are likely other needs as well. So, we offer wraparound support for eligible households: wholesome foods, emergency rent and utility assistance, counseling, career mentorship, scholarships, kid programs and more! These programs work together to take a little off our clients’ financial plates, and help them to get back on their feet. Along with a caring community of volunteers, donors and community partners, we help families move from crisis and uncertainty to stability.
