Life is challenging and ever-changing. We understand that certain events can change your financial circumstances quickly. We’re here to help, beginning with assistance in feeding your family so you can focus on other household bills and responsibilities.
We have two qualifications to receive services at Circle:
First, our clients can have a total household income of up to 150 percent of the federal poverty level. In 2014, the federal poverty level for a family of four, for example, is $23,850. Our client families of four can have total income of up to 150 percent of that figure, or a total income (including wages, social security, disability, government assistance and other resources) of no more than $35,775.
Second, our clients live in west St. Louis County, in the geographic footprint of the three school districts serving this area – Parkway, Rockwood and Valley Park.
Follow these steps to receive assistance.
- Call Circle Of Concern at 636.861.2623 to arrange an appointment and learn about the application process, including required documentation.
- Come to your appointment at our location in Valley Park to review your current income, Client Expectations and family needs.
- Once approved for services, you will receive a seven-to-ten day supply of perishable and non-perishable food from our pantry. Clients can come to Circle every four weeks.
- As a food pantry client in good standing, you will also have access to our other programs and services including scholarships, holiday programs and birthday club.
Emergency food is offered on a one-time basis. After receiving emergency food, you will either begin the process of enrolling as a client of Circle or, if you do not qualify as a client, you will receive information about other resources to help.
