The coming months are all about the holidays at Circle, and – with the help of our entire community – we eagerly help our clients celebrate!

Toy Day

IN THESE FINAL DAYS, WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF TOYS FOR ALL AGES! PLEASE SEE SHOPPING SUGGESTIONS BELOW AND DROP AT CIRCLE BY THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9, AT 3 P.M.

Children are at the heart of all the December holidays! Toy Day is an opportunity for adult clients to “shop” for age-appropriate gifts for their children. The generosity of our whole community is on display as parents choose from toys, books, bicycles, games, sporting equipment, craft kits, building sets and more to ensure a bright holiday. We welcome toy donations for children birth to 16 years. Here are some shopping suggestions .

*Please drop off donated toys at Circle Of Concern (112 St. Louis Avenue in Valley Park) by Friday, December 9 by 3 p.m. OR at the First Evangelical Free Church (also known as First Free or E Free Church at 1375 Carman Road in Manchester) between 3 and 5 p.m. on that same day, Friday, December 9, for distribution on December 10.

Thanksgiving Baskets

In keeping with the name of the event, we were filled with Thanksgiving at our recent Thanksgiving Baskets distribution. More than 500 families signed up to get all the makings of a traditional feast … and the whole event assured a beautiful holiday for our clients.
An event like this doesn’t happen without a HUGE amount of help! Please join us in thanking:
Barb Woehle and Sherry Barrett – committed co-chairs who inspire such “thanks” in us;
Our Volunteers – friends and neighbors who, literally, do all the heavy lifting and warm giving;
St. John United Church of Christ – our Thanksgiving Basket home, filled with service and care for our clients;
Our Donors – food drives big and small, friends who made sure every family got a beautiful turkey, happy people who shared additional healthy treats and kid-perfect greeting cards with each family, groups who made baking bags filled with food staples that warm up a kitchen, those who shared cash to enable us to give pies, vegetables and small gift cards – each of you contributed to the feast!

Thank you!
